Before starting with the video productions. My beginnings were with photography. Stills taught and trained my eye to find the beauty in small details. With my eye as well as my editing techniques allow me to be different from the others and be known for my own style.
As a photographer, the key is understanding light and composition.

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • When kicking off a new project, I always ask for clarity to the client, what type of production they’re looking for, the main objectives, which platforms the content will be published on, as well as timelines and expected deliverables.

    Having this information upfront allows me to fully understand the scope of the project and contribute with my own perspective, creative ideas and artistic direction.

    At this stage, we also align on the budget and overall terms to ensure everything is clear from the beginning.

  • Once the project direction is defined, I move into the pre-production phase. This includes scouting locations, sourcing talent if required and developing either a storyline or a detailed storyboard depending on the project’s needs.

    During this stage, the client and I work closely to finalise the narrative, confirm shooting locations and align on the production timeline and key deadlines.

  • The production phase is where all the footage is captured and the project truly starts to come to life.

    Depending on the location, environment and specific client requirements. I work with a wide range of equipment to ensure the best possible results.

My name is Alexis and I am a Spanish videographer, photographer, video editor, underwater photographer and content creator who has been based in Spain, Switzerland, Fuvahmulah and Australia. Having lived in multiple countries, I’ve immersed myself in different languages and cultures, building a strong foundation in content creation and storytelling.

Fun fact: I can speak 7 different languages!

I’m a content creator, videographer and editor passionate about telling stories that inspire, educate and raise awareness. Right now, I manage video editing, social media and marketing for Baja Wild Encounters. I’ve also worked with Oceans Nation and produced private content for Matthew David Kaplan (@matthewunderwater). Working with Pelagic Divers Fuvahmulah (PDF), EntreAzules, and Cottaish has allowed me to capture unique moments and share them with audiences around the world.

My passion for creativity began five years ago when I moved to France. It was the time in my life that sparked my interest in visual storytelling and creating. Since then, I have been traveling the world, refining my professional skills as a creator, and working with various companies to bring powerful narratives to life.

My love for the ocean was born three years ago during my first trip to Bali, where I experienced the most unforgettable interaction with a green sea turtle. That moment ignited a deep passion for marine life and conservation. Ever since, I have been dedicated to expanding my knowledge in underwater photography and filmmaking. Through my work, I strive to showcase the beauty of this vast, often misunderstood world and its incredible inhabitants, hoping to inspire people to protect it.

You will often find me working on new projects, embarking on new adventures and striving to tell meaningful stories through my lens. Whether on land or beneath the surface, I am always looking for ways to capture the essence of our world and share it with others. I have invested in professional camera (Sony) and filming gear, including underwater camera equipment and an equipped to shoot high-quality visuals in any environment, from underwater / surf to rugged landscapes to studio-based brand work. Having full control over my gear allows me to capture unique, high-resolution footage that enhances the storytelling process and brings immersive experiences to life.

Beyond creating, I am constantly seeking new experiences that push me outside my comfort zone and further develop my professional work. Whether it's freediving with tiger sharks in Maldives, exploring remote islands, or working on impactful conservation projects. My goal is to merge adventure and creativity with storytelling. I believe that powerful visuals can change perceptions, enhance connections with others and our surroundings and drive action towards global issues.

My name is Alexis and I am the face behind Origin Productions.

I’m a Spanish film director, creative creator, social media manager and marketing strategist based in Australia, Spain, Maldives and Switzerland.

I have been raised by the ocean, since very young I have been close to the water but it wasn’t since I went to Bali for the first time that I felt deeply in love with it. Since then I have been traveling the world documenting my adventures.

A strong passion for adventure and the natural world first led me into the outdoors and environmental work. As a versatile filmmaker, I’m comfortable creating across a wide range of content and I thrive when capturing visuals in demanding and unpredictable conditions.
