WHO I AM
FILM PRODUCTIONS
As an artist, I am always looking for the perfection and the smallest details, I am trying to eye-catching the way to bring stories to life, to connect to the audience using the power of the images and the stories.
Whatever you have to say, an idea, a thought, just say it, I have the ability to transform all these things into something that people will watch it.
You can find some of my film productions here.
CONSERVATION
My involvement in conservation projects comes from a strong commitment to changing the way people see some of the ocean’s most misunderstood animals.
Through collaborations with initiatives like NeuralFin, FADER wetsuits and expeditions with Odysea, I focus on telling honest, powerful stories about sharks
My main approach within these projects is to create impactful films, short documentary-style videos, and photography that reveal their true nature. After years of diving with different sharks, I’ve been able to capture real, raw encounters that challenge fear and replace it with respect.
HOW I WORK

WHAT I DO
PHOTOGRAPHY
Before starting with the video productions. My beginnings were with photography. Stills taught and trained my eye to find the beauty in small details. With my eye as well as my editing techniques allow me to be different from the others and be known for my own style.
As a photographer, the key is understanding light and composition.
You can have a look at my photographies here.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Creating visuals is my passion, but making sure they actually reach people is just as important.
That’s why I’ve spent years building a strong presence on social media, mainly through Instagram, where I’ve grown a community of over 25,000 people and working for companies with more than 20M followers.
I’ve dedicated years to understanding how it works, how to tell stories, how to connect with audiences, and how to create impact, not only for my own projects, but also to bring real value to the brands and clients I work with.
When used with intention, social media becomes a powerful tool.
-
When kicking off a new project, I always ask for clarity to the client, what type of production they’re looking for, the main objectives, which platforms the content will be published on, as well as timelines and expected deliverables.
Having this information upfront allows me to fully understand the scope of the project and contribute with my own perspective, creative ideas and artistic direction.
At this stage, we also align on the budget and overall terms to ensure everything is clear from the beginning.
-
Once the project direction is defined, I move into the pre-production phase. This includes scouting locations, sourcing talent if required and developing either a storyline or a detailed storyboard depending on the project’s needs.
During this stage, the client and I work closely to finalise the narrative, confirm shooting locations and align on the production timeline and key deadlines.
-
The production phase is where all the footage is captured and the project truly starts to come to life.
Depending on the location, environment and specific client requirements. I work with a wide range of equipment to ensure the best possible results.
You can find more details about the gear I use further down this page.
-
Once everything is shot i start the process of post production.
Post production includes a free of copyright soundtrack, cutting the whole film, sound design, color grading. Basically everything needed to create a high-end film.
I usually offer 3 versions meaning that I first send a V1, make changes if needed, send a V2, make more changes if needed and then send a V3 final version. More versions can be agreed with the client if needed.
-
Once the project is completed, I deliver the final files to the client via a WeTransfer link for easy download.
All content is produced in 4K, using either a 16:9 or anamorphic format depending on what was agreed beforehand.
I also prepare tailored versions optimized for each platform. For instance, Instagram edits are typically shorter, exported in 1080p and formatted in a 9:16 aspect ratio to ensure the best performance.
-
Once all deliverables are finalized, we can also collaborate on social media campaigns to get the most out of the content we’ve created.
This can range from me sharing the production across my own platforms to increase reach, to advising clients on the best way to post, position and promote their campaign for maximum impact.
Creating strong visuals is key, but knowing how to use them effectively makes all the difference.

Hola !
My name is Alexis and I am the face behind Origin Productions.
I’m a Spanish film director, creative creator, social media manager and marketing strategist based in Australia, Spain, Maldives and Switzerland.
I have been raised by the ocean, since very young I have been close to the water but it wasn’t since I went to Bali for the first time that I felt deeply in love with it. Since then I have been traveling the world documenting my adventures.
A strong passion for adventure and the natural world first led me into the outdoors and environmental work. As a versatile filmmaker, I’m comfortable creating across a wide range of content and I thrive when capturing visuals in demanding and unpredictable conditions.
